Quasar Science 4-foot Q-LED X-fade tubes are variable color temperature, dimmable with most AC dimmers, and brighter than comparable fluorescent tubes. These LED lights easily adjust from 2000K to 6000K using a dial on the end of the tube. No ballast is required, making this one of the easiest soft lights to rig anywhere. We include the tube and Q-tap AC cable. We also carry 4-lamp, 2-lamp, and 1-lamp mounting hardware for Quasar Tubes, making them easy to rig with similar results to Kino Flo 4-bank and 2-bank lights.
The Kino Flo Diva 401 kit includes two 4-lamp Diva fixtures with 3200k and 5600k tubes, built-in dimmable ballasts, flozier diffusers, 90-degree eggcrates/louvers, baby offsets, and stands. Your rental also includes a rolling flight case, making this kit highly portable.
When shooting in a situation where you don’t know what to expect, the ability to swap between 5600k and 3200k in the same fixture can be a big advantage. The Divas are most often used as a key or fill light. They are nearly as bright as our Kino 4 by 4s, but more portable. Kino lamps are known for their high CRI and accurate color reproduction.
This followspot rental is a popular spotlight for stage events. It uses a 575-watt lamp with a parabolic reflector and focusable and zoomable lens for great flexibility. It’s designed to be run by an operator, with an easy to use handle on the back of the unit and controls along the top, back, and sides. The spot light is fully dimmable and includes an iris for precise size control. Focus adjustments allow for a crisp beam or a soft edge. It runs on standard 110v household current.
We include the FS-1000 follow spot in mounting yoke, a power cable, and a stand. You’ll probably want a heavy-duty extension cable for most situations. If you’d like to run this light from a lighting board, you’ll also need a DMX dimmer pack and DMX cables.
This spotlight can get hot, and care should be taken to keep it away from flammable materials. A small internal fan cools the unit whenever it is plugged in.
Our experienced lighting technicians would love to help you design, set up, and operate your stage lighting rental. Please call us for details.
Our 6″ 500w/1000w Strand fresnel spotlights include gel frames. The high output, clean edges, and focusability make them popular as stage and event lights. We rent this spot light with a baby receiver to mount on a stand, or C clamp to mount on a pipe up to 2″. Spot lights are a great choice for stage lighting, when you want to control spill and keep light off of surrounding areas.
All of our lighting equipment uses standard 110V edison connectors. Barn doors are also available. Discounts are available for packages with 12 or more lights.
Our experienced lighting technicians are available to help you design, set up, and configure your stage lighting rental, as well.
The Kino Flo 4-foot 4-bank light fixture is a staple on location and in the studio. Each fixture runs cool on less than 250 watts, but provides enough light to compete with 1200w HMIs.
We include the Kino Flo fixture, twist-on mount with pin, egg-crate, head cable and electronic ballast. We also include 5600K and 3200K lamps. If you like, we can provide Kino Flo 2900K lamps, UV/Blacklight lamps, or other commercial fluorescents, too. Mounting 4-foot 4-bank lights is most easily done with C-stands, not included.
Need something more portable? We like the Kino Flo Diva 401s, with nearly the same output in about half the space.
